We have a work-around for those families who are new to the district and/or have never had a student attend any of the schools in our district.  By moving down through this form to the "New Families to the District" section, you will see instructions on how to register for either the rest of this school year or next school year.

 Online Registration Process

1. Using the Chrome browser, go to the Western Dubuque CSD home page.  NOTE: You should complete the registration process using a computer; not a cell phone.	http://www.wdbqschools.org/
2.  Click the Portal button that is located under the slideshow banner.
3. Click on Campus Parent and then enter your Parent Username and Password.  Click Log In.  (If you do not have a Parent Portal account, contact [email protected]  to have an account created for you.)
4. A window should open that looks similar to the window at the right, click the "hamburger icon" in the upper left corner to expand the window and show a gray navigation pane on the left side of the page.
5. Click More.
6. Click Online Registration (the bottom choice).
7. Look for the Next School Year field and click Start or Start Another (or Continue if you have already started the 2024-2025 registration process).  (Image at right has been split to improve clarity.)  NOTE: THIS PROCESS IS ONLY FOR THOSE WHO ARE A RETURNING FAMILY FROM ANY TIME IN THE PAST.
8. Make sure the names of the students residing at your address are included in the window that appears. If there are students listed who no longer live at your residence, please contact Mary Boge at [email protected]. Any student listed in your account for whom you are not the Primary Care Provider, will appear as a no in the INCLUDED IN THE NEW APP? column.  Contact Mary Boge ([email protected]) if this information is not accurate.  You cannot register a student for whom you are not the legal Primary Care Provider.   If all information is accurate, click Begin Registration.
9. Continue with the registration process.  To ensure that your information is being saved as you move from pleat to pleat (sections), click the Save/Continue button at the bottom of each tab often as you work even if you have not finished entering information.
10.If you do not complete the registration process, YOUR CHILD WILL NOT BE ENROLLED.  You MUST click the red, "Submit Your Application" button and then click the "Confirm" button once you have entered information for your child(ren).   11.It is important that you WAIT for the "Thank you for completing..." window or your application may not have been submitted.  This may take a minute or longer to appear on your screen.

 

ONLY PRIMARY PARENT/GUARDIANS REGISTER STUDENTS USING A PARENT PORTAL ACCOUNT.  NEVER USE A STUDENT PORTAL ACCOUNT TO TRY TO REGISTER.

• Click here to BEGIN the registration process.  NOTE: You will need a valid email address in order to complete the online registration process.  If you do not have an email address, here are instructions that show you how to create an active Gmail account (https://edu.gcfglobal.org/en/gmail/setting-up-a-gmail-account/1/.)
• After completing the form and submitting it to [email protected], click this link: https://wdbqia.infinitecampus.org/campus/OLRLogin/west_dubuque .
• If you are registering to begin THIS school year (February, March, April, May of 2024), click the button located to the left of the 2023-2024 (Current School Year) option.  If you are registering for next school year, click the button located to the left of the 2024-2025 (NEXT School Year) option.  Then, click Next.

• Enter the information requested on the screen.  Make sure you select No from the drop-down menu stating that you have never had a student who attended the Western Dubuque Community School District.  Once completed, click Begin Registration.
• Go to your email account and open the email from wd.schools.
• Click on the link that is provided for you in the email.  This email is unique for you and cannot be shared with anyone else.
• Enter your name and then click Submit.
• Read the information and then click Begin.
• You are now registering your student(s).  It important that you advance through the numbered sequence at the top of the screen through at least the number 3 circle so your information is entered into Infinite Campus.  Make a habit of clicking the Save/Continue button often!
