Tip Tuesday
If your child gets back a test or paper with a failing grade. Instead of thinking "failure," think "feedback."

Notice anything your child got right. Then help your child learn from the rest by asking questions such as: What kinds of questions did you miss? Did you miss them because of something you didn't read or remember from your notes or the book? Did you understand the material/assignment, but make careless errors? What does this tell you about how you should prepare for the next one? Figuring out the answers to these questions will your child learn from the feedback and be better prepared next time.
