Are any of your children a "glass half-empty" kind of kid? Some people are more pessimistic than others by nature. But that doesn't mean you can't help your children see the sunnier side of life. Remind them of good times and successes they have had. And if they say they will never understand something, sit down and offer support as they figure it out. Show them that they can solve "impossible" problems if they keep trying.
