The final assessment for Excel can be or can include any of the following. The Computer Apps teacher will decide what assessment will be used to demonstrate knowledge of the basic concepts of Excel.
- ELA: Use to create simple graphs and to organize information gathered from original or other texts
- Math: Enter data into a table and create simple graphs; enter data to perform simple calculations; use the graphs with other applications to communicate math concepts; explore a variety of graph types using data students collect and enter into a table on a spreadsheet
- Science: Collect and chart data from science experiments; generate graphs and create questions that the graph may answer
- Social Studies: Use survey data to create graphs; use graphs to compare data collected over time
- Create a household inventory (a specific room) using approximate dollar values for each item in the specific room)
- Create a classroom inventory using approximate dollar values of each item in the classroom (will require online research for dollar values)
